Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using FollowSo. By creating an account or accessing the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use FollowSo.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and FollowSo ("we", "us", "our"). By registering for an account, clicking "Create account", or otherwise accessing the FollowSo service, you confirm that:

You are at least 16 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).
You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
You have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you are accepting on behalf of a company or organisation, you have authority to bind that entity.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email and an in-app notice at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of the Service

FollowSo is an AI-powered outreach workspace that allows you to organise, track, and follow up on direct message conversations from LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger. The core features include:

A browser extension that captures DM conversations from supported platforms
A web dashboard for managing leads, statuses, notes, and follow-up reminders
AI-generated conversation summaries, priority scores, tone analysis, and reply suggestions
A follow-up queue that surfaces leads that need attention

FollowSo does not: send messages on your behalf, automate any actions on social platforms, access social media accounts without your explicit action, or provide CRM, analytics reporting, or mass-messaging capabilities.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

3. Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account creation

You must provide a valid email address and choose a secure password, or sign in using Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at support@followso.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.

3.2 Account accuracy

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary. Accounts created with false information may be suspended or deleted without notice.

3.3 One account per person

Each individual may maintain one account. You may not share your login credentials with others or allow multiple people to use a single account, unless using a workspace plan that explicitly supports multiple seats.

3.4 Account security

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We recommend using a strong, unique password and enabling any available security features. We will never ask for your password via email or support chat.

4. Plans, Pricing, and Billing

4.1 Subscription plans

FollowSo offers a free plan and paid subscription plans ("Solo" and "Agency"). Plan features and pricing are described on the pricing page at followso.com/#pricing. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

4.2 Free trial

Paid plans include a 7-day free trial. No charge is made until the trial period ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial without being billed. If you do not cancel, your subscription begins automatically at the end of the trial and you authorise us to charge the payment method on file.

4.3 Billing and payment

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

4.4 Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing section in Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain full access until then. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for unused portions of a billing period, except where required by applicable law.

4.5 Failed payments

If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry the charge. If payment cannot be collected after reasonable attempts, your account will be downgraded to the free plan. You will be notified by email before any downgrade occurs.

5. Your Content

"Your Content" means any data, text, or information you submit to FollowSo — including lead names, conversation messages, notes, and tags.

Ownership: You retain full ownership of Your Content. We make no claim to ownership of any data you submit.
Licence to us: By submitting content, you grant FollowSo a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not use Your Content to train AI models.
Your responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you submit. You represent and warrant that you have the right to submit it and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.
Third-party platform data: When you use the browser extension to capture conversations from LinkedIn, Instagram, or Facebook, you are responsible for ensuring your use complies with those platforms' own terms of service. FollowSo is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those platforms.
Data export: You may export Your Content at any time. Upon account deletion, we will provide an export opportunity before permanently deleting your data.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use FollowSo to:

Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
Automate, scrape, or mass-extract data from LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, or any other platform
Send unsolicited commercial messages ("spam") or engage in any form of mass outreach automation
Harass, threaten, or harm any individual
Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or any code intended to disrupt or damage systems
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service, its servers, or related systems
Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service without our prior written consent
Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features or access controls
Resell, sublicense, or commercialise access to the service without our written permission
Collect or harvest personal data about other FollowSo users

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, without refund, and may be reported to appropriate authorities.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our property

The FollowSo service, including the website, application, browser extension, code, design, trademarks, and all AI-generated outputs (summaries, scores, suggestions), is owned by FollowSo and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

7.2 Feedback

If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the service ("Feedback"), you grant us an irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free licence to use that Feedback for any purpose. We are not obligated to act on any Feedback.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

8.1 Service provided "as is"

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

8.2 AI-generated content

AI features generate summaries, scores, and message suggestions based on the conversation text you provide. These outputs are suggestions only — they may be inaccurate, incomplete, or contextually inappropriate. You are solely responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to use any AI-generated content. FollowSo is not liable for any outcome resulting from your use of AI suggestions.

8.3 Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FOLLOWSO'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO FOLLOWSO IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) €50.

IN NO EVENT SHALL FOLLOWSO BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

8.4 Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FollowSo and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

9.1 By you

You may close your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Upon deletion, all Your Content will be permanently removed within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9.2 By us

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if: (a) you materially breach these Terms; (b) we are required to do so by law; or (c) continued access would create a risk to the service or other users. For non-material breaches we will attempt to give you notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue first.

9.3 Effect of termination

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5, 7, 8, and 10) will remain in force.

10. General Provisions

Governing law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Romania, unless you have the right under applicable consumer law to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be considered a waiver of those rights.
Entire agreement: These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy) constitute the entire agreement between you and FollowSo regarding your use of the service, superseding any prior agreements.
Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.
Force majeure: We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including internet outages, provider failures, or acts of God.
